What is an MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI apps like ChatGPT, Claude, Replit AI, OpenClaw, and other MCP-compatible tools to securely connect to your Spiffy account.

Once connected, your AI can access your Spiffy data and perform actions based on the permissions you grant, turning it into an intelligent business assistant.

Security & Permissions

Your AI app only has access to the Spiffy accounts and data you authorize. All AI actions follow your existing Spiffy user role and permissions, so an AI cannot perform actions you aren’t already allowed to perform yourself.

Some AI apps can also make changes to your account, such as updating customer information or processing actions. Always review requests before approving them, especially when they affect customers, payments, or other important business data.

You can disconnect an AI app at any time from your MCP Settings.
