# Creating Single Products

Single Products are digital products or services that you sell as a one-time purchase. This can be paid in full or a payment plan.

Spiffy makes it easy to create and manage your Single Products, and trigger automations based on a variety of purchase and billing events. We’re going to cover all the basics, from creating your first product to setting up product-specific billing automation triggers.

## Creating Single Products

You can create Single Products by clicking on **Products** in the left navigation menu.

1. Click on [Products](http://app.spiffy.co/products) at the left navigation menu
2. Click on the **Create New Product** box at the top of the Products page
3. Choose **Single Price** for the Product Type
4. Give your product a **Name** and **Description**
5. Enter the default price for your product
6. Click **Create Product**
7. You will be automatically taken to your new Single Product’s performance dashboard

### Product Options

This feature is available for Business and Scale accounts.

**Product Options** allows you to create multiple offers for your product. This gives you flexibility to test different prices, track performance stats on each, and set up different automations to run.

If you have a Business or Scale account, you can set these up while creating your Product or [add them later from your Product Dashboard](https://university.spiffy.co/automation/single-product-automation.md#advanced-pricing-options).

## Add Products to a Checkout

Products can be added when creating you checkout (recommended), or you can add it later in the checkout editor.

## Using Payment Plans

If you have a high ticket product and want to offer financing, you can add a Payment Plan to your checkout. Once you create your _Product_ and add it to a _Checkout_, you can add a _Payment Plan_ option from the Checkout Editor settings.

Payment Plans are not tied directly to a Product. Instead, they are controlled within the payment plan block on a Checkout.

This gives you more control to set up different payment plans on each Checkout. You can also include multiple items on the Checkout into the payment plan.

Here are the payment frequencies available for Payment Plans:

- Quarterly

- Every 6 months
- Yearly

For Business accounts, Spiffy’s “**custom**” payment frequency provides super flexible billing options for a wide range of scenarios.
