Convert Existing Deals

When using Enable Order Deals for HubSpot, you can migrate existing Deals and actions to Order Deals. This optional step takes legacy Deals and converts them to the new managed Deals in Hubspot and enhances them with order data retroactively.

Previously, with the ‘Create Deal’ purchase automation action, a separate Deal was created for the main checkout purchase and for any upsells taken. Now, the synced data will encompass the whole order, so everything is in one place in HubSpot.

If there were multiple Deals created for a single order with the legacy ‘Create Deal’ automation (Main Offer, Upsells, etc), the migrated, accurate order data will be synced to only one of the existing Deals in HubSpot.

After turning on Enable Order Deals for HubSpot in your Integration Settings, select Convert Existing Deals.

You will be asked to confirm this step. Click Yes to continue.

All Deals in HubSpot that were migrated from Spiffy will include the order info as Deal Properties.

Using the migration feature will also remove any ‘Create Deal’ actions on existing checkouts. This is to help clean up automation on your Spiffy account, since the ‘Create Deal’ automation action is sunsetting in favor of the global setting Enable Order Deals.
