If you’re using standard, single-pay line items on your checkouts and want to use Products instead, you can easily convert your existing checkouts without having to start from scratch. Using Products in Spiffy is optional but highly recommended because it gives you more flexibility and control with automations, better insights for reporting, and more.

Create a Product

First, you’ll need to create your Single Product to replace your Line Item. You can use the same naming conventions and pricing to keep things clean and organized.

When this is done, follow the steps below to convert Line Items to Products on your existing checkouts.

Convert Line Item to Product on Your Checkout

1. After creating your Product, navigate to your Checkouts list and select the checkout you want to edit
2. In the checkout editor, click on the Offer tab
3. Find the Line Item you want to convert to a Product, and click Manage
4. In the right-side popup, click Use a Product
5. Select a Product from the dropdown list
6. Enter the Price. The Product’s default price will populate, but you can change this
7. Click Save Changes
8. Publish to update the live checkout
